The use of quartz ceramic rollers in tempering furnaces

Quartz ceramic rollers are a very important component of tempering furnaces, used for handling and transporting various materials, and have a significant impact on the operation of the entire equipment. Therefore, it is necessary to check its quality before use. During inspection, it mainly focuses on its dimensional tolerance, bending resistance, thermal shock resistance, as well as fire resistance and wear resistance. After inspection, you can use it after confirming that there are no issues. Additionally, it is important to use the correct method when using it.
1. When first purchasing, add 100mm long ceramic loose cotton in both chambers. Meanwhile, you should mark one end of the stick. Once used in the kiln, it should be marked once so that it is easy to know how long the stick has been used.
2. Ceramic rods should be coated with a protective layer before entering the kiln. The sizing length should be 100mm longer than the effective width inside the kiln, and the thickness should be controlled between 0.8-1.2mm. The sizing can be carried out in two stages, and the ceramic rod needs to be cleaned before sizing.
Before placing the roller rod into the kiln, it should be preheated and dried for about 24 hours.
After applying the primer, replace the adhesive roller in a timely manner. When the temperature drops to 800 degrees, replace it in the center.
The above is the manifestation of the quartz ceramic roller acting on the tempering furnace. Based on its introduction, we can have a clearer understanding of the efficiency of product usage and avoid operational errors that may affect product performance.
